My Dear Sister.

               Just a few lines dear to let you know that Murray has been keeping me posted as to how things are progressing at home and believe me dear a great old load has been lifted from me. I wrote Mrs. Camp and hope she came across all Jake.

               I suppose by now everything is beginning to look like home in the bungalow, we have certainly something to work for now.

               Now Carrie I am going to let you into a little secret. As you know Annabelle and I think each other just about right, but as for I have not been able to hint anything as to the future, probably this is not news to you. Now what I want you to do Carrie is to find out how I stand at the bank and send me a check form “no one knows how much I really care for Tommy as I call here”.

               If finances permit I will write her also and you can get your heads together and get a ring. Do you get me? I do not think she will object. But first of all I want to know how I stand, I think $100 would buy a nice one don’t you?

               At the present time I am broke flatter than a pancake but I would sooner go broke here and have things settled between Tommy + I. Of course it would have to be quite a little time fter I got home to give me a chance to recupriate [sic].

               Murray + I are fine and that darn march has been cancelled for 24 hours on a/c of rain.

               Mums the word now Carrie, but please step and let me know and tell me if you do not think I am doing right.
