Well dears here we are again Sunday morning just after church parade, we had the chaplain of the 208th this morning, and I do hope we do not get him very often. Very dry and hard to listen to, you know the kind.
I received your letter Friday and it sure made me feel good to hear your congratulations etc. I wrote you all, about it a couple of weeks ago and thought I would be in time to let you know but it takes so long for mail to come and go that it kind of kicks our plans in the stew although I think it is a lovely idea for Annabelle to get her ring on my birthday.
I am awfully sorry dad cold not go up to the woods this year, but here’s hoping that he does not miss again.
Well dears I suppose you are all settled by now in the bungalow. I am certainly looking forward to that snap you are going to send me of it. I would sure like to be there to see if but again here’s hoping it may be soon.
Last Thursday I went to the dentist. I had a slight touch of indigestion and thought it may be caused from my teeth. I had three taken out and five filled. Yesterday one of the ones that have departed started to bother me and today my face looks as if I had a plum inside. I think I must have caught cold in it.
On Monday we are starting on a scheme which takes us down near the coast. We will be out about five days. But I will try and write if possible.
Murray struck a jake job on Friday night he was warned to be ready for London at 8 AM Sat morning. It is a job in connection with Canadian Election and may take him over to Paris before he is finished. He will be away about 4 weeks. I think on Dec. 3 I leave for Borden and will be there for 8 weeks. There are a bunch of Americans at Borden and I expect to
