My darling Mother Father + Sis

Just a line dears to let you know that I am feeling fine. We have been kept pretty well on the move since we hit the country but we are with the battalion now and suppose things will soon settle down to a routine again of course everything is pretty strange to us here in this no man’s land. Different language, different money and different surroundings.

Just at present Murray and I are separated although we are in the same company. He is in #9 and I am in #11 but we are trying to arrange it somehow.

We are pretty lucky in getting good billets and I think as soon as we get used to the heavy marching we will be jake and it will certainly not be as monotonous.

There are lots of things I would like to tell you about, but we will just have to wait.

We were marching through a certain place Friday and I saw Fred Huddleston + a few of the other boys and they were certainly looking fine.

I will be glad when our mail starts to find us over here because we sure do feel like strangers in a foreign land.

Remember me to all dears. Oh say you can send packs again now whenever you are sending anything.

              Your Loving Son + Bro
