Somewhere in France

My darling Mother, Father + Sis.

              Well dears here we are again, another Sunday and we are still as optimistic as ever one more week nearer home.

              I am still in the concert party, but believe me there is more real work in connection with a show than I ever thought of. But our middle name is work and if it turns out successful we will be repaid for what we have done and then probably we will have it easier.

              The Bttn. is out, therefore Murray and I are together again although at present I am attached to headquarters and not in the same hut.

              Murray is feeling find and by all reports they had a pretty jake time last trip in but I was not there to see.

              I was quite disappointed there was a parcel sent up the line for me and, there is a general rule here that when a parcel goes up the line it stays there, so I guess I have lost it but I do not know whether think there will be any more trouble about mail now that I have be attached to headquarters.

              I am sorry I have not been able to write more this last week but as soon as we get in shape I expect I will have more time.

              Well dears this is just a note and I’ll try and write again this week. Hope you are feeling good + things going along well.
